Temperatures drop, pumpkin spice lattes are here....is your wardrobe ready? September often has cooler evenings with blazing heat during the day. Dressing for this can be a challenge. Dress to0 fall forward and you will break a sweat during the day but summer's pants, shirts and dresses are too cool for when you head to work or out in the evening. Intermix fall fabrics -leather, suede, tweed- with summer denim, shirts, skirts and dresses to transition your look. Simply add a layering piece -great fall jacket, cardigan or vest and a pair of ankle boots, chukka boots or leather/suede sneakers or mules to give any outfit a fresh fall look.
White Jeans NOW --> LATER
You don't have to stop wearing white denim after Labor Day! White jeans can look modern and trendy into the fall season styled in a few different ways. Black/white outfit with white jeans looks crisp for fall with ankle boots or a great handbag and heels. Fall colors -burnt orange, marigold, olive, sapphire blue, wine colors, and emerald green contrast well with white denim so try it in a print shirt or blouse, or layer in these colors with a fall jacket.

Ankle Length / Cropped Pants NOW --> LATER
Ankle length or cropped pants were a summer go-to thing to wear but they transition easily to fall as well. Switch your summer shirt, polo, or button down to a chunky knit sweater or cardigan. Add some ankle boots to give a pop of fun at your feet. Boots in a rich leather color or animal skin instantly updates you for fall.
